Winston will ignore most VPN traffic and have no impact.
VPNs that rely on port 443 will be filtered by Winston and may have some connection issues, so we recommend the corporate domain for those VPNs be added to the Allowed list at https://my.winstonprivacy.com/whitelist. VPNs that rely on port 443 that we're aware of include Cisco AnyConnect, Cisco Pulse Secure, Microsoft Azure, and Zscaler.
If you experience intermittent disconnects or inability to access your VPN, you will need to whitelist the client domain associated with your VPN. If you're unsure you can reach out to your company IT to obtain or open the VPN client.
